my suggestion for one possible structure of the explanations in the Jabaco Wiki:
1. Use (Verwendung = Erklärung des Einsatzzweckes)
2. PreConditions (Voraussetzungen)
3. Standard setup (Standardeinstellungen)
4. Activity (Aktivitäten = Durchführungsanweisungen)
5. Example (Beispiel)

A general question... or even two Number one: Why do the two of you always post in the english forum, getting answers from each other although you are both native german speakers?

Number two: I am just starting with Jabaco (as you might know) but I've already learned much about VB6 (oh my god, sounds as if I were a small child just learning it and being proud I can show a MsgBox )... Would you think I can help with the Wiki or should I at first work more with Jabaco? In other words - are VB6 and Jabaco similar enough so I can contribute?

my reasons to post in English:
- probably more readers can understand English
- practice my language skills
- it hurts less to write a "quick and dirty" text in a foreign language than in your mother tongue ;-)

There are ~ 25 percent german and ~ 33 percent native english speakers in this community. Most of the remaining 42 percent speak english as secondary language. It's cool to write with so many developers all over the world and nobody will condemn your contributions.

I know that nobody will condemn it, I just wanted to know whether I can help at all with which I know about VB6 oder whether I should sit in my quiet cellar for a few months trying around with Jabaco and doing my homework

I think I will try both: contributing to the Wiki and trying to improve my skills with Jabaco
