I am not a programmer but a writer. However I have a very systematic way of trying to find out...................
I am English and have also a degree of skill in German, since I live and communicate here.
What I write about and that includes a series of e-Books I am to publish on topics like "two natural languages", I have done from my own desktop with a so-called framework.
This framework is built using the concept of "workspace" used by a text editor.
The translation framework between English and German works well. I am looking at Jabaco because of its Java and Basic origins.
What I will try to do with Jabaco is the following:
1. Create a two-pane workspace for text input and data transferred to a table database.
2. The two pane colleagues will be a Text editor in one and DBEdit a simple database in the other.
I have discarded all other programming languages I have made reviews of for a variety of reasons.
The first reason is that generally that the languages have word usage and notions far removed from natural language. The second reason is that the languages mostly have a concept of an IDE that has nothing to do with tasks a person might want to perform.
Anyone interested in communiocating with me on the subject, I would bve please to talk to in the hope that I would gain advice and ideas.
I think with some help that I might be able to teach myself how to use Jabaco.
