Java 7 released

Java 7 released. You can download it at

This is the first version, which based on the source of OpenJDK. Before it was the other way around.

But be careful: The current version have a bug in the Hotspot-compiler.

The HotSpot-Compiler have problems with loops in its optimizer. To avoid it you can use the JVM option -XX:-UseLoopPredicate.

Bacause of that bug all known versions of Apache Lucene Core and Apache Solr don't work with the current Java 7 version:
