B4J has matured so much, and has so many useful features, that Jabaco features would have to fill a specific unique niche, to be relevant. I wish Manuel the best, and hope he's working on something he enjoys.

Can the portable version be re-posted, somewhere else? The website seems to be infected. It's actually been that way, for a while. I'm re-coding an app in a different language, but it would be helpful to be able to re-trace some of the Jabaco code, on my Windows 8.1 PC.

Essco, I don't know Manuel's personal situation, but I know that he sincerely tried to give us a new version. My guess is that the code is not pretty, it was written with older tools and components, and that it's embarrassing to give it to everyone, at this point. I have code like that. Java 8 is the culprit. Uninstall all Java 8 instances, if you need jabaco to work. I'm porting over all Jabaco applications to Groovy. It's definitely time to retire Jabaco.

Error JABACO (21-1) ConstantPool

I solved this months back. But now it's occurring again, and I can't get rid of it. I reinstalled Java 7, and made sure everything is pointing to there. But this error still occurs, and it's necessary to end the process (not end the application), in order to remove it. But now, because of it, I can't get in to debug any Jabaco applications. I'll bring in my Netbook tomorrow, which has a working copy of Jabaco. Hopefully, it's free of this error.

It looks like it was related to some checkmarks in some of the classes in References (classpath)/Jabaco.jar and rt.jar.

Jabaco not recognizing System.out and debug.Print

I just found out, that one of my older Jabaco projects returns an error when compiling a System.out.println statement, that a Class is expected, and the 'out' is highlighted. Also, when typing System then a dot, it uppercases it to SYSTEM. I figure this has to do with the order of my Imports, so I explicitly put a Import java#lang#System at the top Similarly for Debug.Print. The class error points to the Print method.

How to implement an enum?

Hi, I'm building a sample of using Neo4J with Jabaco, to share with the community. One of the parameters of the Neo4J method createRelationshipTo - is usually illustrated as an enum that implements the RelationshipType. E.g., public static enum RelTypes implements RelationshipType { RELATE_TO; } I have no problem implementing interfaces in Jabaco (thanks to the forum), but cannot figure out how to make it an enum type, as above.
