Here are some statistics for the last times of this forum board:

If you click on "Members" on the top of this forum, you see, that there existing at the moment, where I writing this, 69 pages. 68 pages with 30 people and the last page with 19 people. Together they are 2059 registered people.

But if you sort by date of registration, you have 70 pages. 69 pages with 30 people and the last page with 27 paople. Together they are 2097 people.

Despite of this different numbers of people, it is possible to create a little statistic about the registered forum users.

The date of registration and the number of people who registred in this date:
2008: 59 ( 3%)
2009: 653 (31%)
2010: 617 (29%)
2011: 444 (21%)
2012: 324 (15%)

The number of posts and the number of poeple with this post-count:
with 0 posts: 1743 (85%)
with 1 post: 107 (5%)
with 2 posts: 52 (3%)
with 3 posts: 34 (2%)
with 4 posts: 19 (1%)
with 5 posts: 15 (1%)
with 6 posts: 13 (1%)
with 7 posts: 11 (1%)
with 8 posts: 5 (0%)
with 9 posts: 9 (0%)
with 10 posts: 5 (0%)
with more then 10 posts: 46 (2%)

I nknow, that the year is still not over. But I think, there don't will be changiong much.

Myself I find this statistic interesting. I can't understand, why anybody register for a forum, where he don't post. Some of the non-posters have integrated its website and a picture of themself. It can be possible, that someone wanted to post and decided then, during he is writing, that it is better to not post it. But 85% (!) of the registered people are non-poster.

And again I want to come up, with a new statistic.
Again, it is a little bit before 2014, but there will be not changing much in the last hours.

The date of registration and the number of people who registred in this date:

You wonder, that in this year comming so much new member?
I wondered, too.

Have a look at the added JabacoStats.pdf.
There are the number of new registered persons divided into month and not years.
As you can see, August 2013 was the last normal number. And then it goes up.

with 0 posts: 2340 (87%)
with 1 post: 129 (5%)
with 2 posts: 57 (2%)
with 3 posts: 34 (1%)
with 4 posts: 20 (1%)
with 5 posts: 15 (1%)
with 6 posts: 13 (0%)
with 7 posts: 10 (0%)
with 8 posts: 6 (0%)
with 9 posts: 10 (0%)
with 10 posts: 5 (0%)
with more then 10 posts: 52 (2%)

And again, the members side shows a different number of people, depending for what it is sorted.
If you sort for the "date of registration", there are 2928 member.
But if you sort for the number of "posts", there are 2691 member.

New since 2013 is, that there is a local place for the last binary of the Jabaco Framework:

Since November 2013, there is new competition for Jabaco:
The author of Basic4Android, created a program for desktop-development, which is free of charge:
[ http://www.basic4ppc.com/android/b4j.html ]

At the moment Jabaco is a lot of better.
But sadly it seems, that B4J have a more active community in its forum.

Yes, B4J has had a nice beginning, but is limited in some ways. I still prefer Jabaco for desktop development.
