Tutorial?

How about a step-by-step tutorial of this IDE in action? Perhaps how to create a simple web-based form or something? I'd like to see something concrete about building stuff with this interface.

Thanks,
Ed

I just tried creating a new project from the "Web Applet" template.
A very simple project that copies the text from a text box and puts it in a label.
Jabaco created an HTML and a JAR file, and by opening the HTML, I got a fully functional "Web form".
There doesn't seem to be a need for a specific tutorial on creating web apps.
If you need any help on creating a basic application (like if you never used V.Basic) I'll be more than happy to help

I kind of need help myself on just VB in general. I'm familiar with Basic via Liberty Basic, PureBasic, BlitzMax, QBasic and such, but have little to no time in VB. If there's a VB help file that is available for download somewhere, I'd rather have access to that. Or some VB examples that I can tink with to get familiar with.

Garret, you can look here as a good place to start: http://visualbasic.freetutes.com/learn-vb6/
Also, a good place to look for example source code is http://www.planetsourcecode.com.

If you have any questions just ask me.

Thanks a bunch Steve :-)

Another thing, does anyone actually have the help file for VB 6 for reference? Or is there a user made help file with reference to all the commands and functions etc?

Steve, that tutorial you noted is pretty good, at least for me it is. Being at least famliar with basic makes it pretty quick going in that tutorial so far.

Thanks again for posting that for me. :-)
