String is an object in the Java world. With Jabaco you can use it as object:

Jabaco Source

1
2
3
4
Dim test As New java#lang#String
test = test.concat("test1")
test = test.concat("test2")
MsgBox test

Or as datatype:

Jabaco Source

1
2
3
4
Dim test As String
test = test + "test1"
test = test + "test2"
MsgBox test
