Short tutorial to do that:
- Switch to your install-path
- Open the folder './lang'
- Copy the existing file 'english.xml' to 'yourlanguage.xml'
- This file is your template now

Quoted value="YourLanguage" - Start Jabaco and select your new language
- Replace the english-text through your language in the template
- To proof your changes, click on the language button again
- Post your new language-file - or send it to me

Some translated strings are too long and doesn't fit correctly in all forms (ie the search form)
Should i abbreviate them?

Hi Fabio, thank you very much for this translation.
Is that possible? It is difficult to implement autoresize in some cases...

Here it is a portuguese language file. I'm not so sure about ProcedureStep, BlockStep and SingleStep translations because I could not debug any program - these options were always disabled...
Oh, another thing: I could not keep 'encoding="ISO-8859-1"' without getting a nasty error.

I've moved the language-files to Subversion. It would be great, if some native-speakers could translate the modified files. You'll find the current language-files within the latest Jabaco-Installation and at the SVN-Repository. Mail me the translated files or upload to Subversion directly.

Notation:
Use the english notation of your language name for the filename and within the language-file. E.g. "German" instead of "Deutsch".

Hello,
Hebrew translation without <messages> done.
Name: Amit Markel
Language: Hebrew
Version: 1.5.0
Status: In progress... <Messages> not yet translated.
File: hebrew.zip (I saved the file in ANSI, and set the encoding to ISO-8859-8 [codepage=177])
I'm also not sure about the debugging menu because I haven't really used these functions, and these are grayed in Jabaco (along with the Pause button & Breakpoints).
Cheers
Amit

Could you save it as UTF-8 and set the encoding to UTF-8? Should be very easy with notepad++ (format=>convert to utf8) on your system.

Edit:
I've tried to play with Notepad++ again after reading your post again Manuel, only this time I noticed you wrote to convert it also, so I have, and it works (Also needed to change the ISO to UTF-8, with a "-").

I now saved the file as UTF-8 with Microsoft's notepad, and got this error: Load 'D:\Program Files\Jabaco\lang\hebrew.xml' failed! Line: 1 Code: -1072896657 Desc: Switch from current encoding to specified encoding not supported. I will now try to convert using Notepad++, though it works properly with ANSII. Edit: When I saved the file as UTF8 the Hebrew text was gone when opened either with Notepad or Notepad++. I now tried to open Jabaco and the same error jumped (which was raised when I saved it as UTF8 in notepad). However, it works, but for some reason the English entry is duplicated, whereas the duplicated one raises this error when selected (and on startup), but isn't raised when selecting Hebrew. Old file (ANSI): |

Hello,
I've just completed the Hebrew translating.
1. I couldn't come up with an exact parallel word so instead I explained the following:
Original: Boxing class for auto conversion not found!
Back to English: The class to automatically convert the object not found! (''Boxing'')
2. There seems to be a problem with GoToFlag, in all languages on my computer.
3. I suggest to add an <Item Name="RTL" value="true or false"/> item to the <Information> section to make all the controls and message boxes which use the XML file, appear with Right-to-left format if set to true.
Name: Amit Markel
Language: Hebrew
Jabaco Version: 1.5.2
Language Version: 1.0.0
Status: Seems finished.
File: hebrew1.0.zip
Regards,
Amit.
