Had the same problem. I reinstalled Java 7 as the default, and made sure that it was the first java.exe referenced, in the path.

Oh I see, a year ago I found okay, but now anything was wrong.
Well, I have installed eclipse with newest java. what should I do then to keep both of them? is it possible? pls suggest me for better action.
Thank so much for your response, mate, I do appreciate it

# if only that way I can use my beloved jabaco, I would remove ecclipse :)

There might be different ways of managing your Java versions, but I install the different versions in different folders.

For the main version that's used most of the time, I select c:\java for the home (Sometime back, Groovy had problems with installations containing spaces in their PATHs, so I got into the habit of using c:\Java).

You can install the other JDKs in the default folders. Then, when you need to switch to any of them, modify the relevant environment variables like JAVA_HOME, JAVA_CMD, the PATH etc., to point there.

For convenient environment editing, I use Rapid Environment Editor, http://www.rapidee.com/en/about.

Apologies to Manuel (thanks for everything, sir), you might also want to look into B4J. For this type of coding, I've pretty much moved to that platform. It's matured a great deal in the past year, and you might find it convenient.
