ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT JABACO FINANCIALLY

Dear Jabaco fans and friends,

Don't you think that the Jabaco project deserves our substantial support and encouragement? I think we all benefit from it, and Manuel is very kind replying our questions and suggestions. There are much to be done, and most important, the DOCUMENTATION, and these things are better done after encouragement.

I suggest that, with Manuel's permission and direction, we start FINANCIALLY SUPPORT, by donating to the Jabaco project.

I am waiting for response,

Cheers,

Frank

Hi Frank,

 I fully agree and I am available for any reasonable proposal! For this it is very important to publish (and kept updated) an effective documentation. In this condition there could be the possibility to organize the representation of Jabaco in Italy (technical support, seminars, gatherings of developers, translations, etc.), provided that Manuel is in agreement ;).

Financial Support

I'd be psyched to donate to this project, but I'd like to see cross platform support before i can do that.

Cheers,

Financial Support

Here is what I propose. I see great potential for Jabaco.

The key is to be able to import large VB6 projects and make them cross platform as well as use newer technologies to add code.

I think in a very bussiness mind so let me explain what I think can make this project progress.

Manual sets up a way, where all of us can invest into Jabaco. We get 'shares' of the company for our money. So becuase we are helping pioneer this new language/process, we will possibly get a reward in the future for investing money into it.

Just my opinion.

I totally agree to that. I think Jabaco will have a great future so I would be willing to invest in it.

Also i think that He should start charging for subscription to automatic updates. A small monthly fee trough paypal subscriptions and some code to keep track of who is paying. Then just change Jabaco to request mail address instead of a serial key. The system should also only let a user download each update once...

Personally I also think that Manuel should talk to Bernd Noetscher at KBasic. Perhaps they can combine efforts in order to create stable product. They both target slightly different platforms but still have a lot in common. I think both would benefit of being developed under one roof.
